In addition to the major High Street shops located in the city centre, Newport has two dedicated shopping centres - the Kingsway Centre and the Cambrian Shopping Centre, near the Railway Station.
A £200 million facelift of the city centre which will create hundreds of jobs, and attract high profile retailers. The new retail scheme covers an area comprising of Kingsway, Upper Dock Street, John Frost Square and the Bus Station. A key feature of the development will be to bring together Newport's riverfront and commercial centre, allowing people to walk easily between the two areas.
